Today’s world is changing and businesses that do not react to social and environmental challenges will not be able to sustain themselves. New landfills are being opened due to old landfills filling up at an ever-increasing rate. Carbon emissions have reached unsafe levels and our take-make-waste society has proven to be unable to sustain itself.
At CDS we recognize these environmental problems the world is facing today and understand the urgency in which responses must be made. We are thankful for the opportunity given to us to operate our business. Taking that opportunity requires us to be held accountable for our impact on the environment and our surrounding community. In all of our decisions we must take into account the direct and indirect impacts we have on the environment and our community. If we are unable to reduce our impact on the environment and help our community we would consider it a major failure in our business. This responsibility is what strives us to innovate and operate in a sustainable manner.
